Good day! My name is John.A linguist by trade and expertise and an idiot by night, I am a man of many interests but few passions. "And what of your passions?," you may ask (were you so inclined). I am passionate about political philosophy, technology, music, my job and, to hear my mother talk, beautiful women and making an ass of myself.*
This blog is just a place for me to share things that interest me, so don't expect anything of it, especially not any sort of commitment or seriousness. Some days I might post a political or linguistic discourse which catches my fancy, and the next (or five minutes later) a memetic rageface.
I am 21 years old and currently live in the United State of Georgia, though I'm from Michigan (I move around quite a bit). I'm also a gamer and a fan of [good] anime. I speak English, German and Arabic, with a bit of French on the side.
And lastly, I only follow tumblrs which I enjoy reading. I could go on about how this means I won't follow you just if you follow me and blah, blah, blah, but that's not the point I'm trying to make. I mean, just because I follow you doesn't mean I expect you to follow back. It just means I like seeing your posts on my feed.
*Not actually true, my mother thinks better of me than I do.**
